Google no longer publicly shares PageRank scores, so you can't find your actual "page rank" in the traditional sense that existed when Google first published the metric. Google officially stopped updating the public PageRank toolbar in 2016 and discontinued it entirely in 2018. This matters because many clients still ask about it, so you should understand what happened and what metrics actually matter now.
What you can measure instead are signals that correlate with how Google values your pages. Domain Authority (DA) from Moz and Domain Rating (DR) from Ahrefs are the closest substitutes—they estimate a site's overall ranking potential on a scale similar to PageRank. You can check your DA for free on the Moz toolbar or by entering your domain at moz.com/domain-analysis. Ahrefs offers Domain Rating checks at ahrefs.com, though full insights require a paid account. These metrics aren't official Google scores, but they're built on backlink analysis that aligns with how Google actually weights domain authority. For individual pages rather than your entire domain, Page Authority (PA) in Moz or URL Rating (UR) in Ahrefs show estimated ranking potential for specific URLs.
For your actual ranking visibility, focus on what matters: use Google Search Console (which is free and official) to see which queries your pages rank for, your average position, click-through rates, and impressions. This tells you exactly how Google treats your content in real search results. You can also run rank tracking for target keywords using tools like Semrush, SEMrush, or Rank Tracker to monitor position changes over time. These practical metrics—rankings, clicks, impressions—matter infinitely more to your clients than a PageRank-style score would. When clients ask about page rank, redirect the conversation to their actual search visibility and organic traffic, which is what drives revenue. That's the metric worth obsessing over.
